Winter Driving School

The Keweenaw Research Center is running a winter driving school for anyone wanting to improve their winter driving ability and confidence in snow. The class is professionally taught and is conducted on KRC’s private test course. The class focuses on cornering, control, braking, emergency response, accident avoidance, and skid control. Class size is small to take advantage of one-on-one teaching. Vehicles are provided with varying drivetrains to expose the driver to all types of driving conditions. For more information, fill out the request form, or call KRC at 906.487.2750.
